Bob Kauflin Leading Worship At Sojourn Midtown This Sunday, June 12
Last week we told you that Sovereign Grace’s Bob Kauflin is coming to Sojourn on Saturday, June 11 for a free Songwriting/Creativity Workshop. Well, guess what? He’s going to stick around for an extra day and lead worship for us during the two evening services at our Midtown Campus. These services occur at 5pm and 7pm. We’d love for you to join us. But now, over at their blog “The Blazing Center” they have a few pointers for anyone who wants to light the way for mediocrity and theological confusion. Check out this tongue-in-cheek post, “How To Write An Awful Worship Song.” Excerpts: Recycle A Love Song. Write a song for your girlfriend. When she breaks up with you, convert it into a worship song. Be sure to change all uses of “girl” or “baby”.

Hovering Over Each Word of Bob Kauflin's "Worship Matters"
My name is Brooks Ritter and I’m an under-liner. I find it most helpful for whatever I’m reading, if I’m hovering over each word with my favorite Bic ink pen, (the more simple the better, right?!?).
