Last night, Shai Linne attended Sojourn Gathered at the Midtown Campus and led a special sung-Benediction. He and the Sojourn band did “Jesus Is Alive” from his fantastic album The Atonement. Check out this video footage from photographer Chuck Heeke, recorded on his digital camera: And here’s more: You can also view these on YouTube, and either pass around the URL or embed them into your own blog: Shai Linne and Sojourn, part one Shai Linne and Sojourn, part two
"Mourning Into Dancing" In The Blogosphere
Tony Kummer recorded the above video, which features a behind-the-scenes look at yesterday’s sold-out Band Of Bloggers event during Together For The Gospel week here in Louisville. You’ll hear our recording of “Mourning Into Dancing” from These Things I Remember in the background (written by Sojourn worship leader Jeremy Quillo). And the green Ford Explorer, used to transport the gift bags full of books for conference attendees? That’s mine. My car is a video star. Maybe it will stop being so greedy for gas now. The folks who are carrying bags out of the Explorer included several of the panelists … Read Entire Post
Seen This Sojourn Video Yet, Featuring "May Your Power Rest On Me?"
Former Sojourn member William Wallace is an incredible film-maker (and now a member of the new Antioch Church plant in South Louisville, led by former Sojourn pastor Todd Robertson). He recently shot this video for the Sojourn vision campaign, using our song “May Your Power Rest On Me” from Over The Grave: The Hymns Of Isaac Watts, Volume One. This features “Stories of Change” from a number of Sojourners. Lives transformed by the gospel, for God’s glory — that’s what it’s all about: Stories Of Change from Sojourn Community Church on Vimeo.

Free Christmas Music Video: "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" by Sojourn, From "Light Up Louisville" Downtown Holiday Festival
The Sojourn worship band performed original and classic Christmas carols and songs for Advent recently at Light Up Louisville — a holiday celebration drawing thousands to Louisville’s downtown. Below you can see “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” which is actually a different version than you’ll hear on our Advent Songs album — we like to keep things fresh. As last Tuesday when I shared the video of our original Christmas song “Glory Be,” let’s run down the cast members of this band, playing outdoors in the winter chill: Mike Cosper: electric guitar. Sometimes appears as a ghostly orb, depending on where … Read Entire Post
