The First Record You Ever, Ever Bought …

Recently we asked those of you who follow us on our @sojournmusic Twitter or Facebook.com/sojournmusic to tell us the first record you ever bought.

We all know this is a potentially embarrassing question, although it’s also one that brings back good memories for many. Whether that first record you bought is still one of your favorites or whether it’s one that now makes you cringe, it’s still an interesting time capsule in your life and in modern culture.

Here’s a list of what our Facebook and Twitter friends said (don’t worry — we won’t name names):

Flattening the hills,
Someday the mountain might get ‘em
But the law never will …”
