Hear A New Song & Interview With Sojourn’s Brooks Ritter

Sojourn Midtown Worship Director Brooks Ritter wrote “Lead Us Back” and “Living Faith” with me (from our albums Before The Throne and Over The Grave, respectively). He’s a featured vocalist on those Sojourn Music albums as well as Advent Songs, The Water And The Blood, the upcoming A Child Is Born, and his EP The War. And this Friday, November 18 Brooks will release his second full length solo record, titled Gather Round.

He’s received airplay here in Louisville on WPFK 91.9, and will sing live there on Thursday, November 17 at 11am (listen online at wfpk.org – click the “Listen Live” tab).

Check out my interview with Brooks, and the premier of his title cut on this record, Gather Round.

And if you’ll be in Louisville this Friday, November 18, join us at Brooks Ritter’s CD Release Party at The 930 Art Center. This is also the CD Release Party for fellow Sojourner Dave Moisan’s new solo CD, Ungravity. Get all the details and order tickets at the930.org, here.

Last week I talked with Dave about Ungravity, during which we premiered “Down To The Felt” from that record. Click to hear to that interview and song (or download it from the same Sojournmusic.com Radio podcast as my interview with Brooks). Finally, Dave will perform live on WFPK on Thursday, like Brooks. Dave’s timeslot is 2pm, so check out wfpk.org and click “Listen Live” both at 11am and 2pm this Thursday, November 17.
