If you’re familiar with Sojourn albums Over The Grave and Advent Songs, then you’re familiar with vocalist, songwriter, keyboard/guitar player Dave Moisan. He co-wrote “Warrior” and “We Are Changed” on Over The Grave with Neil Robins and me, and he sang on both tracks. He also co-wrote that album’s “Savior King” with Eddy Morris and Joel Gerdis. And he sang “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” on Advent Songs.
This year he’s releasing a new solo project, Ungravity, in three parts. The first part is a three-song cycle that is already getting quite a bit of airplay on Louisville’s WFPK, 91.9FM. If you’ll be in Louisville on Friday, January 28 at 7:30pm you can attend his CD release party at The 930 Art Center. An $8 ticket (in advance, or $10 at the door) not only gets you in, but it gets you free download codes for Ungravity, Pt. 1 and the latest album by A Lion Named Roar, who will play a live set this night as well (You can also purchase the $8 advance tickets at Quills Coffee in Louisville).

The interview concludes with the premier of his song “Grave” from Ungravity, Pt. 1. You can either hear it now in the Audio Acrobat player, or download it in iTunes or RSS below.
