Welcome to sojournmusic.com’s weekly worship music set list review. You can find links to the set lists of this church and many other churches each week in the Worship Blog Carnival at theworshipcommunity.com. And you can learn about some of the songs we sing at Sojourn Gathered each week in advance of the Sunday service by reading my “Getting Ready For Sunday” post each Thursday at Sojourn’s online journal, TravelBlog.

This set list (and photo gallery by Chuck Heeke) comes from the evening services at the Midtown campus, and begins with the first song following our Call To Worship. Slight variations may have taken place during the other services.

1. Come And Sing by Sojourn’s own Jeremy Quillo. Jeremy wrote this as a song for the Call To Worship, which is how we used it here (view Sojourn calls to worship and other liturgical readings any time at theopensourcebook.org). You can:
- View the chord sheet to “Come And Sing” on our Before The Throne page
- Listen to “Come And Sing” from facebook.com/sojournmusic
- Read Jeremy Quillo’s own “Story Behind The Song” concerning “Come And Sing,” here on the sojournmusic.com blog.

2. Of Psalm 51 by Sojourn’s Rebecca Dennison. To learn more about this song of petition, you can:
- View the chord sheet to “Of Psalm 51″ on our These Things I Remember page
- Listen to “Of Psalm 51″ at facebook.com/sojournmusic

3. In The Shadow Of The Glorious Cross by Sojourn’s Brooks Ritter and Rebecca Elliott. We’ve heard many recordings of this song from other churches. All the Sojourn songwriters and worship ministry feel honored when our brothers and sisters in other places choose to present our songs to their own congregations, for worshiping our great Redeemer.

4. Completely Done written by Jonathan Baird, Ryan Baird and Rich Gunderlock. We used this Sovereign Grace song as our Communion Hymn of the week. Great lyrics:
I’m leaving my fears behind me now
The old is gone, the new has come
What You complete is completely done
We’re heirs with Christ, the victory won
What You complete is completely done

5. Cling To The Crucified by our friend Kevin Twit, founder of Indelible Grace and an RUF pastor. He found this anonymous text, and turned it into a solid worship song:
Cling to the Living One; cling in thy woe
Cling to the Loving One; through all below
Cling to the Pardoning One: He speaketh peace
Cling to the Healing One; anguish will cease

6. The Power Of The Cross written by Stuart Townend and Keith Getty. Our “song for the sending” this week is one of this young centuries best-know contemporary hymns. It’s full of gospel-truth, and a fun song to sing:
Oh to see my name written in the wound
For through Your suffering I am free
Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live
Won through Your selfless love
