The Time Is Here: Sojourn At CICW 2010 Worship Symposium

The yearly Worship Symposium hosted by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship in Grand Rapids, Michigan begins tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 28).  Several Sojourn worship leaders, visual artists, staffers and members are making the trip from Louisville today and tomorrow. A Sojourn worship band will participate in a large-group worship leader team for one of the services. Worship Leader Magazine Reviews Our "Over The Grave: The Hymns Of Isaac Watts, Volume One"

Worship Leader magazine serves 40,000 subscribers each month with print issues dedicated to providing, recommending and discussing resources available to aid worship leaders everywhere. Special Lament For The People Of Haiti at Sojourn Gathered This Sunday – Join With Us

Using "In Christ Alone" In Church: Worship Song Series

In Christ alone, my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song … With those opening lines, Keith Getty and Stuart Townend began the quintessential contemporary hymn, “In Christ Alone.”  In this age of praise and worship songs containing a single verse and a chorus (sometimes a second chorus and/or a bridge) one would have thought that “In Christ Alone” didn’t have a chance — no chorus, four big verses of eight lines each, in metered poetry. Sojourn at CICW Worship Symposium 2010

It’s almost time for the yearly Worship Symposium hosted by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  I will be a part of the biggest contingent yet of Sojourn Music members to take part in the Symposium, from January 28-30.  So what’s it all mean?
