by Bobby Gilles on October 12, 2009

AMBITIONSojourn is hosting the last Acts 29 Boot Camp of 2009 at our Germantown campus here in Louisville, The 930 Art Center.  The theme of this conference is Ambition, based on Romans 15:20:

“It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ is not known.”

One unique feature of the Ambition Boot Camp will be a stellar Worship Track.  In this track hosted by Worship & Arts Pastor Mike Cosper, you will hear from these speakers at various times on Tuesday the 11th and Wednesday the 12th:

Mars Hill Church (Seattle) Worship Pastor Tim Smith.

Bethlehem Baptist Church (Minneapolis) Director For Worship & Music Marc Heinrich.

Kevin Twit, pastor,  founder and leader of Indelible Grace.

Sandra McCracken, worship songwriter and recording artist (The Builder And The Architect)

Chip Stam, associate professor in the School of Church Music and Worship at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, founding director of the Institute for Christian Worship.

Neil Robins, Sojourn worship leader/songwriter, producer of Over The Grave: The Hymns of Isaac Watts, Volume One.

This track will feature three distinct areas of focus:

  • Worship That Is Missional, Contextual and Gospel-Centered
  • Panel Discussion On Worship Ministry
  • Singing Theology
  • Panel Discussion On Songs And Songwriting

The Ambition A29 Boot Camp occurs November 10-11.  Head over to our sister site, churchplanting.sojournchurch.com for registration and many more details.
