Cookin’ With Cosper: Sojourn’s Worship & Arts Pastor Shows Another Side …

by Bobby Gilles on July 14, 2009

Last week the Sojourn elders went on retreat, and I was allowed to tag along as a fly on the wall (or in the anointment, depending on your perspective).  We’ll have a fuller report of that in TravelBlog later this week, but for now, here’s a quick video from the retreat cabin.

Worship & Arts Pastor Mike Cosper lays down the guitar and picks up … kitchen utensils.  Turns out, he’s quite the cook.  Check it out:

Bobby, if it means that the staff gets to eat more of his cookin, I think that “Cookin’ with Cosper” should be a regular feature on the blogs. Perhaps a weekly installment?

My thoughts exactly.

Mike is following in his grandfather’s footsteps. His grandfather (my dad) was a fireman and a great cook. He used to feed the entire fire department on South Beach in the 1950’s. His specialties were barbecued chicken and the world’s best fried shrimp. I should also point out that the Cosper family is notoriously non-musical!

Dear Sojourn,

I just received the CD. It is fantastic. But there is one problem.

I received the CD last week. But then I received another one this
week. I only paid for one.

I think the problem is that I tried to pay for it once without going
through with the entire payment. Then I went back and ordered another.
So maybe it registered twice, even though I didn’t pay for the first?

But since I love the CD so much, I would love to pay for it so I can
give it to a friend. Please let me know what I need to do. Thanks!

In Christ,

Matt

P.S. the only reason I am leaving a message is because the contact info page link is broken.
