… as a life-long U2 fan, OVER THE GRAVE is challenging NO LINE ON THE HORIZON as my favorite release of the year - it is that good. In fact, I don’t recall the last time I was so moved by a “worship record”.
Finally, this album is my favorite of the year, scratch that, of the last couple of years, no contest. Please notice I didn’t say favorite “Christian” album, but out of all the music I listen to, and I listen to a lot. Way to go Sojourn, looking forward to Volume 2!

With over 800 praise and worship songs on my iPod Nano, I still felt compelled to load up OVER THE GRAVE. It is a wonderful collection, deep, rich, and broad in the ways it blesses. I have all the other Sojourn albums and this is rapidly becoming a real favorite. It is great to get past the 11 words/repeated 7 times (or is it 7 words/repeated 11 times?). These songs take you deep into the real gospel, real worship, and leave you humming to yourself (and God!) all day long.
