FREE Concert And Songwriting Seminar By The Gettys, Feb 6-7 At The 930 Art Center

Keith and Kristyn Getty, along with friend and sometime writing partner Stuart Townend, are responsible for some of the most memorable worship songs in our lifetime — contemporary hymns like “In Christ Alone,” “Merciful God,” and “Beneath The Cross.”  And they’re coming to Sojourn’s home, The 930 Art Center on Friday February 6th at 7:30 pm for a FREE concert (tickets are required).  Then the next morning,  Saturday, February 7th from 9 a.m. to noon the Getty’s will lead a FREE Sojourn Songwriting Seminar at the same location.

Tickets are now available for the Friday night concert on a first-come, first-served basis.  Request them by emailing pastoral assistant Jamie Barnes at jbarnes@sojournchurch.com.  No need for a ticket at the Feb. 7th songwriting seminar — just come.

If there is any way you can be in Louisville on these dates, you won’t want to miss out on a chance to hear and sing along with this incredible couple and also to learn about the songwriting technique responsible for lyrics like these:

In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,
Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness,
Scorned by the ones He came to save.
Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied;
For ev’ry sin on Him was laid-
Here in the death of Christ I live.

WHEN: Friday, February 6, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 7 from 9 a.m. to noon.

WHERE: The 930 Art Center, Louisville, KY

WHAT: Concert and Sojourn Songwriting Seminar, featuring Keith and Kristyn Getty
