Worship Arts Pastor Mike Cosper: Merry Christmas!
Even if the gifts are the best – they’ll wear out. The batteries will die, the technology will date, and Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony will make cooler toys in a matter of just a few years. Christmas will come again, and our kids, friends, family and neighbors will go into the same frenzy they went into the year before. But take refuge in the fact that the heart of this season is more steadfast than the consumer frenzy around it. The heart of Advent and Christmas is the steadfast hope of Jesus Christ’s promised return, the future hope of our own resurrection, and the knowledge that no matter how thin and disappointing the stuff of Christmas may be, Jesus Christ will never disappoint and never fade.
Joel Gerdis:Â I am so appreciative of the message from Romans 15:8-15…and how missions was described as a current necessity because it is based on man, but worship is ultimate and eternal because it is based on God. Let us not lose sight of the mission or the worship this Christmas season. Let us be intentional in mission and worship when we listen, celebrate, bless, eat, and rest.
Rebecca Elliott: Merry Christmas! It’s an honor to serve as a worship leader, and thanks for worshipping with us. May the Lord bless you in this season, and increase expectation in your hearts for His return!
Christi Osterday: Merry Christmas, everybody! Thank you for being a part of our community!
Jeremy Quillo: Merry Christmas fellow Sojourners! It has been a blessing to worship along with you all over the years. May God give you and your families a memorable and meaningful Christmas.
Dave Moisan: Hey y’all! Merry Christmas and thanks for pushing us towards Christ and challenging us as we lead!
Lindsey Lewis: Merry Christmas! It has been such a blessing to be able to worship with you as we rejoice in a God who sent his only son into the world to save us. I pray this season would be filled with
thanksgiving in what God has done, prayer for those who still don’t know Jesus and hopeful longing for the day when Christ will return to the earth and be joined with his bride, the Church!
