In honor of Thanksgiving Day, Sojourn Worship Arts Pastor Mike Cosper (pictured above from Hard Rock Cafe) is taking one week off from his weekly post in the “Guitar In The Church” series. Â Below are links to all columns in this series so far. Â If you’ve missed one or two, you can use this opportunity to play “catch up.”
And we hope those of you who live close by will join Mike and his Sojourn band in downtown Louisville tomorrow, as they perform original and classic Christmas carols from Advent Songs as part of Louisville’s major holiday festival, Light Up Louisville. Â The band will be playing from 6:15 to 7 pm, right before the Christmas lights go on, all over the downtown area.

Lastly, over the previous five weeks we’ve come to the halfway point in our “Why Do Worship Leaders Do That?” series, examining top ten pet peeves that people hold against worship leaders in churches all over the world. Â We’ll return with part six next Friday, but this week, our resident “worship leader on the hot seat” Lorie King is spending the Thanksgiving holiday with her family out of town. Â Feel free to take this opportunity to view the previous five installments and hear any of the short audio interviews with Lorie (pictured below with fellow Sojourn worship leader Jeremy Quillo) that you may have missed:
