Photo Blog! From Louisville to Saint Louis, Sojourn Leads Worship

SJWT_11208_0002Many of you have told me that you enjoy seeing the worship band photos by Dan Canales each Monday during our “Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs” weekly post.  We didn’t get them up in time this week, but they’re online now so I thought I’d publish a special blog post.  In addition to these four photos by Dan, I’ll show you two pictures from Sojourn deacon Michael Morgan that he took from the recent LEAD conference in St. Louis. The photo above is the first of Dan’s. Besides the fact that it’s a great shot, I love this picture from our most recent worship service because it shows one of our longest-running members of the worship ministry (Tim Donaldson on cello) playing with one of the newest members of the ministry (Katie Mitchell on violin).

SJWT_11208_0003Here is Ryan Harvey on drums. Ryan is another of our newer members. You can watch him playing drums during the recording session for “We Are Changed” (a song that will be on our upcoming worship CD) in a recent sojournmusic.com blog post.

SJWT_11208_0001Another shot of Tim. Man, I love a good cello.

Moments agoThis photo by Michael Morgan shows the Sojourn band leading worship at LEAD. You’ll notice from the big screen in the background that they’re doing our “In the Shadow of the Glorious Cross,” from Before the Throne. Pictured, left to right: Alex O’Nan (half-hidden behind the plexi-glass as he plays drums), Neil Robins, Laura Beth O’Nan, Brooks Ritter and Mike Cosper.  You can watch a YouTube video of this band at LEAD, playing “Solid Rock”.

POTD - October 22Randy Nabors and Sojourn Lead Pastor Daniel Montgomery on TV.  Both taught extensively at this Acts 29 church planting conference.

Tomorrow on sojournmusic.com, a post by Sojourn Worship Arts Pastor Mike Cosper.
