I’ve been getting requests for Advent Songs chord sheets, like the chord sheets posted for Before the Throne and our other worship CDs. Have no fear. Thanks to Worship Arts Pastoral Assistant Jamie Barnes, I have all but two of the chord sheets from this album and will post them later today. Then I’ll post a link to the chord sheets under the track list in the Advent Songs section here at sojournmusic.com — the same place where you can also take us up on our offer to download the entire album for whatever price you want to pay, or get it for free by recommending it to five friends. I will post chord sheets for the remaining two songs as soon as I can get my hands on them.
And this week, come back to see and hear more of the sights and sounds emanating from producer Neil Robins’ studio as the Sojourn musicians record our next worship album — the first of two CDs of new material based on the hymns of Isaac Watts.
Read one pastor’s experience with some of these songs at joethorn.net
Also this week, you can read our regular “Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs” post, detailing the music set list and worship liturgy from today’s Sojourn Gathered worship services, with photos, links to music and more.
We’ll also publish part two of our “Why Do Worship Leaders Do That?” series, where we look at the top pet peeves that people around the world have levied against worship leaders in many churches. Sojourn’s Lorie King gives a worship leader perspective on these complaints.
All this and more, so bookmark this site, subscribe to our RSS Feed, or just make plans to check the content regularly here at sojournmusic.com.
