The Date Is Set For The Next Sojourn Songwriting Seminar

dirt-poor-robins-1.jpgThe second installment of Sojourn’s songwriting seminar series will take place at 3 pm on Saturday, April 26 at the home of Sojourn Community Church, The 930 Art Center, in the Listening Room (the same location as our first event, which featured singer-songwriter Jamie Barnes).

Our hosts for this seminar will be Neil and Kate Robins of Astonish Entertainment recording artists, Dirt Poor Robins.  Neil and Kate are also worship leaders at Sojourn and have written, sung and played music for our last two albums, Before The Throne and Advent Songs.  They have performed at prestigious festivals like Cornerstone, The Toronto Film Festival, and South By Southwest, and have won the prestigious online music competition, OurStage.

You can check out the Dirt Poor Robins official website from our Helpful Links section, as well as listen to “Amen, Amen” a song they wrote for Advent Songs, from this website

We will have much more information on this event over the next two months here on sojournmusic.com — be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed for notifications whenever we post new articles.   Also, this event is listed in our “Upcoming Events” section at myspace.com/sojournrecords and virb.com/sojournmusic and our new Facebook page.

For a recap of our last songwriting seminar, see parts one, two and three in a series I wrote on the event, and peruse pics of the event here on sojournmusic.com or by visiting our Facebook page and clicking on the photo album “Sojourn Songwriting Seminar.”
