Tonight, Louisville’s AAA radio station, WFPK FM, will rebroadcast the edition of their popular weekly show Kentucky Homefront that featured the Sojourn band last summer, as well as singer-songwriter Andrea Davidson and storyteller Tom Frees. This show will air from 8-9 pm EST. Sojourn performed for approximately 20 minutes, playing several songs from Before the Throne as well as classic hymns.
You can hear the live stream of this show at the WFPK website in RealPlayer, Windows Media Player and mp3 formats. In the Louisville area, listen on 91.9 FM.
This episode occured during a year that also saw various incarnations of the Sojourn band, which leads worship at The 930 weekly, take our music outside the walls of the church. We feel honored to have been musical guests on television shows for Louisville’s FOX and The CW network affiliates, to receive radio airplay from WFPK and from the Pilgrim Radio Network, broadcasting in the western United States, and also worldwide at www.pilgrimradio.com, and to have been invited onstage at Louisville’s entertainment district, 4th Street Live, Hardrock Cafe and Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom as part of “Takin’ It To The Streets.” We’re also grateful for having had the opportunity to play at two of Louisville’s biggest festivals, Light Up Louisville and Rock the Water Tower.
We hope you can join us tonight at www.wfpk.org or 91.9 FM in Louisville, and we hope those of you who are close enough will be able to join us at The 930 in Louisville this Saturday at 3 pm for our free songwriting seminar, hosted by Jamie Barnes.  Directions are always available at The 930 Art Center’s website:
